Well, this morning I am UP .4 lbs...
But, I totally caved last night!!! I was supposed to have 2 plain hot dogs, 1/2 cup of broccoli & 1/2 cup of carrots... Well, I knew it was wrong, but I ate the hot dogs with buns... and I had a Pepsi... 8-(
But, the nausea & MASSIVE headache went away ASAP.

Week 1, Day 2...
YAY!!! It's a start, right!?!?!?
I SO wanted to give up last night... I made a regular dinner for my hubby and I REALLY wanted to just cave in and have some. But, I stuck it out. I kept telling myself that if I lost even 1 little pound then it would be more than worth it.
Here was this morning's breakfast:
1 slice of dry wheat toast, 1 scrambled egg, 1/2 a banana & a cup pf black tea with 1 spoon of Splenda.

Sorry for the Mini-Flounce...
I swear, I had the best of intentions when I started this little blog... But, as soon as I didn't have anything to chat about... Well, I sort of bailed... But, I am back. 8-)
I just started the "3 Day Diet" this morning... Supposedly, you can drop up to 10 lbs. the 1st week, so we shall see.
As shameful as it is; here is my starting weight:
How sad, right? But, I am DETERMINED to do something about this, NOW!!!
Here was breakfast:
Grapefruit juice, green tea (with 1 spoon of Splenda) & wheat toast with 1tsp of peanut butter. I will be honest; I NEVER eat breakfast, so this was a tiny bit of a struggle. The grapefruit juice is unsweetened, so by the last sip I was ready to gag...
I am such a scale-junkie... I am trying my very hardest NOT to run to the scale and weigh myself every 5 minutes. The goal would be to not weigh again until next Monday, but I KNOW that will NEVER happen. So, if I can make it until this time tomorrow, I will be satisfied.
Wish me luck!!!
Here was lunch:
1 slice of dry wheat toast, 4 oz of tuna & black tea with 1 spoon of Splenda.

Door-to-Door Sales???
Can I admit that door-to-door salesmen creep me out? I know that 99% of them are probably great people and they are just trying to make a buck... But, there is something unsettling to me about having a stranger milling about when I am home, alone, with our baby Bewis.
I just get the idea that some of them are "scoping" out my neighborhood... The one last night was selling some sort of home alarm or some-such. Luckily Babus was there to handle it. Today it was a new guy but the same company. He was all "so, you have a baby there with you? How old is it? Is it a little boy or a girl?" Okay, I get those kinds of questions, but then he asked "How will I know when someone is home? Do you leave the car out, or park in the garage?" Pardon? That just creeps me out. I told him we ALWAYS park in the garage. The last thing I need is a creepy dude (or chick) thinking that they can get up to no good because there isn't a car parked in the driveway.
Luckily, the guy across the street is a sheriff & most of my neighborhood is composed of retirees that are home and out in their yards all day long. 8-)
I guess I am just being paranoid, and it would never have bothered me... Until I had Bewis. Now I am HYPER aware.
I think we need a dog... A HUGE, mean looking dog! 8-)

Dude came back AGAIN!!! This time Hubby was home. But the sales Dude was trying to get in our house. Asking for a glass of water and whatnot, No Way, guy!!!

Trying to Play Catch-Up...
The house is a miserable wreck. 8-(
When Babus is home on the weekend I NEVER seem to get anything done. The Living Room is not too terrible; just blocks all over the floor and in need of a quick vacuum, but the kitchen looks like a bomb went off in there. Truthfully, I am DREADING the amount of dishes that I will be doing within the next half hour. ***shudder***
1.Gather trash & take to the curb for pick-up.
2.Pick up blocks ALL over the Living Room.
3. Laundry. (4 loads down, a million more to go...)
4. Scrub toilets & bathroom sinks.
5. Sweep & mop bathroom.
5.Do dishes ***ICK!***
6. Sweep & mop kitchen.
7.Take chicken out (to thaw) for dinner.
8.Clean out fridge.
9.Make a menu for next week.
10.Make grocery list.
11. Dust living & dining rooms.
12. Vacuum entire house.
I guess that is a nice little list to get me all started. 8-)

Retro Bathrooms... ***Sigh***
Now, don't get me wrong; I LOVE all things from the 1930's thru the very early 1960's. I always wanted a house that had that mid-century vibe to it... Well, I finally got what I wanted but now I have a question...
What does one do with a pink & maroon bathroom? The tiles are all original to the house, and they are in REALLY good condition, so there is NO way I want to destroy them. I just have NO idea what color to paint the top half of the room...
Right now it has funky heart wallpaper, that is in NO WAY original. It actually has a mid 80's vibe about it. I really need to post a picture.
Actually, I need to take a ton of pictures and post a "home tour." I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE looking at home tours online... I guess it's the voyeur in me, but I can't help it. 8-) I think I must have looked at the home tours listed on Candy's page about a million times. 8-)
